I took my kayak out to sea with the goal of recording some sexy GoPro poses... but things quickly spiralled! Caught up in playing the playful damsel for the camera, I didn’t notice how far out I’d drifted. Then disaster struck—I capsized and plunged straight into the open water. I’m not a strong swimmer, and panic set in fast as the kayak floated away. Thankfully, I was wearing a life jacket, but it still turned into a harrowing few minutes of genuine predicament as I struggled through the waves, trying to reach the kayak again. After an exhausting effort, I made it back on board and paddled shakily back to shore.
