Beautiful place to hike. I'm afraid I don't live in CA, so I don't have any good suggestions for future hikes. It's been fun seeing these trails in your videos.
The West Coast really has some lovely forests. I once made the trek along the Row River outside of Cottage Grove, OR to where they crashed a train for Buster Keaton's The General. The engine was gone before my parents were even born, but it was cool to stand where they filmed the most expensive shot in silent film history.
