I used ChatGPT to calculate and tailor a handmade dressing gown made entirely from tulle — with tons of ruffles, volume, and pure goddess energy ✨ This was a fully hand-sewn project, no pattern, no machine, and honestly a lot of trust in the process. The gown is made from 24 meters of tulle and took me 5 full days to complete. While I would do some things differently now, I’m genuinely proud of the final result — especially considering this is a project for someone learning as they go and working completely by hand. ✂️ Construction details: Front panels: 2 panels, 1.8 m length × 0.70 m width Back panels: 2 panels, 2 m length × 0.70 m width Side panels for volume: 2 panels, 1.5 m length × 0.70 m width (In hindsight, I’d turn these into triangles for better flow) Sleeves: 60 cm width, initially 70 cm long, cut intuitively Belt: Double length, stitched together, then cut to fit visually Ruffles: Bottom layer: 25 cm + 20 cm (two layers) Sleeves & belt: 30 cm This project became an ADHD refocus project, and somehow turned into one of the most satisfying creative experiences I’ve had. By the end, I honestly felt like a goddess wearing it.
