Welcome back to Corn + Cocktails — the series where I make drinks inspired by the hospitality workers and entertainers who keep the nights alive. This episode is for Majesty Nasty — bold, unforgettable, and always stirring up energy on the floor. I knew the drink had to match that presence, so I made a Cosmonaut cocktail — timeless, balanced, and elevated. The classic Cosmonaut recipe is simple — gin, lemon, and raspberry preserves — making it bright, slightly tart, and delightfully smooth. I doubled it because I don’t do half measures — just like Majesty doesn’t do half effort behind the bar. My Cosmonaut Cocktail (Doubled): • 4 oz ginny • 1.5 oz fresh lemon juice • 2 heaping bar spoons raspberry preserves Add ice to a shaker, shake well, and double strain into a chilled coupe or glass. This is a cocktail recipe you can make at home, whether you’re mixing for one or stirring for a crowd — and it’s perfect if you’re into ginny cocktails, sour drinks with jam, or classic sour variations.
