Lana comes in close and puts her hands around Missa's, they say in unison, "Science Team Hang Out!" They giggle loudly while pulling out their notebooks and books. This is the part every weekend where they share what new experiment they have been working on throughout the week. Lana pulls out her beaker and proudly proclaims, "I found that mixing compound A, with compound B, adding in zinc, magnesium, changes the hydroclimatic bonds which results in an increase of heat of 30 degrees." Missa grabs the beaker from Lana, "Nooooo way," she begins to flip through Harvard's Organic Chemistry book, "I believe there is nothing written about hydroclimatic bonds breaking resulting in a heat reaction, this could be really serious for you.." Lana hears the bedroom door across the hall open and close. She looks over her shoulder, concentrating on slowing her excitement of being so near to him, he's so close.." Missa continues to search through the book, "maybe in chapter 47, section 4.5.." Lana remembers looking into the mirror last night and practicing talking to him, rehearsing confessing her affection to him. Lana puts her hand over Missa's book to catch her attention, she says seriously, "your brother is home." Missa rolls her eyes, "don't worry about that loser. He won't be bothering us at all, he's heartbroken since Vivianne dumped him last week." The head cheerleader, the most beautiful girl in school, Vivianne, has left Jared for the quarterback on Jared's football team. It's the latest scandal that has been widely circulating at Madison Park High School. Lana thinks that she could get Jared to go to the Prom with HER, after all, he was probably intending on going with Vivianne, and now that she is busy, he is completely free to be her's. Lana inhales and exhales preparing herself to finally confess to him. "Missa, I'm going to ask your brother to the Prom." Missa's jaw drops, "Are you KIDDING me?! No.. not my brother, he is such an asshole! Why not choose Alfred from Science Club? He's into the same things we are, and he absolutely adores you, I can tell just by the way.." Lana interrupts, "I need to do this, and I will ask him with or without your support." Missa's face drops, "Well.. I guess, ok.. It seems really important to you." Lana smiles. Missa loves Lana's warm smile. Missa opens her backpack, "I wasn't going to show you 'my' experiment until later. But here it is!" Missa pulls out a vial. Lana's eyes widen. "I didn't have time to ferment potatoes to make but I found that mixing water with zinc-oxide, boron, and I was out of magnesium sulfate, but I found that hydro-grow from the Greenhouse gives off a similar molecular reaction." Lana reaches for it, and pops the top off. Missa explains, "in other words, it should get us really high!" Lana considers using Missa's concoction as a little liquid courage. Missa looks at Lana's hopeful face, and says "you can have it all.. you will need it if you're going to talk to my dickhead brother." Missa pours it in a glass for Lana and Lana takes a few sips. "It's disgusting!" Missa giggles, "yeah.. but I bet you feel a little more comfy and cozy?" Lana smiles and nods her head. "Wish me luck!" Watch the story unfold
