I arrive at the university completely exhausted… I barely slept, and I still have to get through this class. I got dressed in a rush before leaving, not thinking much about it. Today is exam day—I can’t mess this up. I start giving instructions, trying to stay composed. The room is quiet as the students begin writing. I take a sip of coffee to clear my head… but something feels off. A strange warmth spreads through my body, slow and unavoidable. It makes me uneasy. Without thinking too much, I take off my jacket. That’s when I notice it. Soft laughter in the back. Eyes lingering on me for too long. Something isn’t right. I start to get irritated. I tell them to focus, that time is running out… but no one listens. The laughter grows. The tension builds. I feel like I’m losing control of the room. And then it hits me. I’m completely exposed. The air feels heavy. Shame crashes over me as I try to cover myself, looking around desperately for my jacket… but it’s gone. All those eyes… they were seeing something I never meant to show. My worst nightmare. Becoming real.
