I leave home like it’s any other normal day, heading out to catch the bus and visit a friend. As I walk through the city, I start noticing people staring at me. Some can’t stop looking. Others turn their heads as I pass by. “How rude… why is everyone looking at me like that?” I think to myself, annoyed and uncomfortable. But then I glance down at my body… and my stomach drops. I’m completely naked. For a moment, it feels like a nightmare — one of those embarrassing dreams that seem so real. Except this isn’t a dream. This is real life. Panic takes over instantly. I try desperately to cover myself as shame and humiliation flood through me. My heart races while I run through the streets, terrified of everyone watching me, judging me, staring at every inch of my exposed body. Desperate for help, I call my stepmother, begging her to come save me. But she thinks I’m joking, like this is some kind of game or prank. No matter how much I plead with her, nobody believes me. Alone, exposed, and overwhelmed with embarrassment, I’m trapped in what feels like the worst moment of my life, with nowhere to hide and no one willing to help me.
