Kymberly Jane has been late to her new job every day since she started. Mr. Samuel calls her into his office, intent on firing her. Kym apologizes profusely for being so late, going into a long story about how her car broke down and she had to walk the last two miles. Afraid of being fired, Kym is nervous and fidgeting, dangling her high heels. Mr. Samuel explains that he'd like to keep her on, but he just cannot stand tardiness. He asks for evidence to support her story, and Kym's eyes light up.
