The irrigation has been playing up and my planting plot is totally waterlogged, puddles of muddy water sit above what now feels like quicksand mud! After putting on my gloss red hunter wellington boots I go and take a look at the problem, trying not to slip but in turn my boots sink into the mud and get really filthy! It's hard to walk when they are so caked in mud so I stop and try to scrape some of the dirt off before carrying on what I was doing in the mud pit. Looks like theres nothing I can do myself to fix the problem so I clean up my boots with the hose!
