To introduce myself, my name is Laura. I'm 5'2, Dark skinned (African American), 175 lbs and I have tattoos all over.

I signed up for a modeling site when I was eighteen years old. I had this love for the human shape and form as a work of art and always was very comfortable with nudity and sexuality as a form of self-expression. I was 150 lbs with these natural C cups and I thought I wanted to take fun pictures, I wanted to do something that I couldn't do by society's standards. So I signed up for this website and got an opportunity to shoot with a photographer right away. Those first photo shoots were awful, like embarrassing and terrible. I wasn't familiar with my angles, how to work with the lighting, and I didn't really know what I wanted to convey in front of the camera. I was still kinda quiet and kinda shy. 

Fast forward to now, I am twenty-two years old a whopping four years later, and I've shot amateur porn across the country, as well as locally, and I have shot with some of the best urban photographers around. I currently am still shooting new content and challenging myself as an adult performer and petite plus size model. I stopped modeling for a while and I deleted my previous Instagram at over 11k followers. For two months I took off from school and I was stumped. I didn't know what to do. I had experienced some cyberbullying on my social media pages for having plastic surgery or scars from plastic surgery and I didn't quite feel so comfortable with myself. Then I took back control, I took the power I gave to every critic I ever faced. I realized this deviance, this self-love that was captured in every photo I took that I consider a piece of art or content video or webcam show, was taking a stand. Taking an ode to practice self-care. 

I did three photoshoots recently and some photos were good and there are definitely still some bad ones in the bunch, but even though I won't post the bad ones I love those just the same because it's all of me. Flawed, scarred, tattooed, the cellulite on my thighs, and when I am eighty years old I'll be able to say I did things I enjoyed, that I loved myself fearlessly, that I didn't let the opinions of others lessen my self-esteem. So the point of all this is really a little bit about my journey as a not so traditional porn starlet, alternative/urban model, but it's also about not being discouraged by popular opinion and pursuing your dreams here on ManyVids and in life. They say if you reach for the stars you'll land on the moon, and I don't know about you but I am okay with that ending.
