As you all know, we have been making changes to the Platform for some time now as we're in the process of creating a ManyVids 2.0. We have been slowly implementing small updates, so everyone can get a feel for what’s yet to come, and we have enjoyed sharing this experience every step of the way with the MV Community!
We recently implemented new navigation menus to the platform, and while we were hoping that this rollout would be a smooth process, we know that was not the case for some users. Before we introduce the feature to you all, we want to take the time to apologize for any inconsistencies, inconveniences, and difficulties you may have had while the new navigation was being launched. Over the past few weeks, we have made several improvements to the new navigation, but we know there may still be a few lingering issues. We are working tirelessly to ensure all issues surrounding the new navigation get rectified as soon as possible. We also want to thank our MV Stars and Members who were so responsive and reported the issues they were experiencing; this truly helped us promptly address the main pain points of the new navigation.
Our new navigation will allow you to access the most important features of the platform with the click of a button!
Desktop:
For desktop users, the top banner will now be more visible and highlighted in black. The new side navigation menu is now on the left side of the black bar; simply click the collapsed menu icon, and the menu will pop open. Here is what you can find on the new desktop menu:

- Dashboard (MV Stars only)
Mobile:
If you are using a mobile device, the new navigation menu will be at the footer of your screen. Here is what you can find on the new mobile menu:

Both the header navigation and the drop-down menu have also been updated. The entire MV Community can easily access their notifications, Inbox, and Messenger on the header navigation. MV Stars also have one-click access to upload a vid and go live, and Members can quickly get to their Shopping Cart!
The user drop-down will make the following tools easily accessible for MV Stars: Security Center, Settings, your Content Preference, your Content Manager, your Earnings section, and other Marketing Tools. For Members, you can expect to find your Purchase History, Security Center, Settings, and your Content Preference.
We will continue updating other areas of the website to ensure that our platform has a uniform look and is easy to use for our growing community. Moving forward, we will continue doing our best to ensure that each launch is as seamless and transitional as possible so we can head towards creating ManyVids 2.0 with confidence. We know there will still be challenges along the way, but the MV Team is committed to working as quickly as possible to address any issues you may face. Updating a platform is hard, so please bear with us as we constantly learn and grow!

This update is complete fucking garbage, you used to be able to sort the creators you follow by recent follow, follower size, and MV rank but this option was taken away for whatever reason, and now my library of liked vids only shows me 30 and doesn't load anymore after, so that's great.
I wish so hard you would kick your current 2.0 team and hire developers who know how to code and designers who can do their job and work for the target audience - members (and hopefully also stars).

To add salt to injury: they apparently ban more vocal users (customers) of this site if they express their discontent... too much. Great. Good look. Definitely making me want to send money this way. Ugh..
I have a hard time loading pages and it's not a slow Internet problem. Pages with videos are just not being loaded correctly: I don't see any video previews, not good for a clip site, is it? 😕
I feel very sorry for the creators on here. Never informed about any changes or given compensation for the business lost. There is no MV site without them, they must be included in changes beforehand. So many still uninformed and cannot even do basics on the site. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Would be a great time to make everything 80% commission. MV only advertises and does deals for the 60% sales like contests and vids. Making creators lower their prices on top of it. I've never seen any advertising for customs or other services because MV only get 20% off it. Take care of your creators, they are ManyVids!
Yeah, they're becoming more and more greedy, it's definitely boiling over in here, look at all the comments. Theres a few on the nav bar and a lot on the site in general. We need people like you and all the members who pay for content to be the ones who stand up for us though, they won't listen to the creators but they'll listen to the money.
With this launch, ManyVids is on a fast downward spiral to falling off the grid entirely.
Website is still vastly not accessible with many login issues across mobile and desktop. New bugs appearing nearly every day. Many user's preferences are being changed to "Trans," some stars are having spoof videos appear on their video store's front page. I sold a spoof video for -$0.01 yesterday that support has not fixed and refuses to compensate for the value of the sale.
Stars and users want a working platform, not a new interface (that has zero new functionality). There is no positive feedback on this.
This is like a comedy where everything goes wrong on here the past few months. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.

I remember when the talk of updates started and I thought "nice, maybe they will finally improve the Search function, or solve the infinity scroll bugs, or fix any of the other issues that have been around". Nope, the opposite lol. I also wonder what this feedback is that they have been listening to since everyone I've spoken to has had the same issues, and I dont think any of them has been adressed.
They definitely make up their own feedback. They used to have a page dedicated to the top 100 people in each category, like the MVgirls, boys, trans and producers. They took that away and put that money into the contests, I wonder why. In that post they said because of the feedback and "what you asked for". I wonder how many MV boys, trans or producers wanted that to happen.
Unintuitive, glitchy, confusing, slow, bad. Some features are lost or hidden, others can be found four different ways. The new live layout has made it harder to find models and Search has gone from bad to worse. At this rate I'll probably have to look for a new platform soon.
LOOSING INCOME and clicks. NO "NEW NAVIGATION" BAR appears on the desktop version. Informed support 2 weeks AGO. NOTHING CHANGED. DESASTER. Unable to navigate.
Imagine waking up one day to go to work, you jump in your car and realise the steering wheel has been replaced with a PS5 joystick. Yep! Manyvids Navigation Menu is FUBAR.
I echo the sentiment shared by other models and members here. Besides the sweeping and unfortunate change, there was a lack of transparency on MV’s part. We were not prepared for or supported through this transition, and we had to chase support agents down for answers that they didn’t have. There was nowhere to realistically escalate our concerns or to give feedback. The glitches were multiple and varied, but the most notable thing for me was how unheard so many of us felt. For a platform that prides itself on fostering community, there was no care for or consideration for the models and members of this ecosystem whatsoever. The community is speaking right now, in strong numbers, and I hope that we are taken seriously. For me, even a simple acknowledgement of the very real problems that affected and continue to affect sales, and a commitment to fixing them in a reasonable timeframe, would have gone a long way.

Change for the sake of change and nothing more. I would like this design if it worked. Do your specialists have experience working on existing projects? I have worked in the field of information technology and have worked with large websites.
Before making a big update of the platform, you should send out a questionnaire with questions to your customers. For example, ask customers what features they need. Many people say they don't want to receive spam. It is enough for them to follow one or two models. Others say they want to communicate and meet new people. If you are creating a social network, make it simple. Add the ability to block unwanted messages. Let each user decide for himself what he needs

I will say a few words in my defense. I want to see the number of views of the entries in the MV LEAFLET, you tell everyone how cool this feature is. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK!

Another important functionality that is not on the site! It's hard for me to explain it, but I'll try. Give models the opportunity to send mass messages to people who have already bought videos from them. Let's say 100 people bought my videos. When I upload a new video, I want to be able to notify them about it. This will fill the pockets of all models, increase the revenue of the site and reduce the amount of spam

I've always thought that. I don't mind getting messages (it used to bother me when I created my account though) but they should give some control about them to the members like an option to block messages from people you don't follow.

I've been saying it ever since the changes kept being tested and now they have been done permanently, the new layout is terrible. The old one was fine, absolutely no need to change it. I'm not sure if there is something being done now because when I've logged in I can't access any member features like inbox because it thinks I'm not signed in, then it just takes me back to the log in page.
i cant even use new site from the phone. It takes me to login page every time even though im already logged in, and then only shows empty pages wherever I go from menu
thanks for emailing me some troubleshoot instructions, but honestly, do you expect all customers to clean their cashe and using incognito mode? I dont want to do it, i want simple and convenient experience without extra steps. i believe sites should solve problems on their side.

On mobile versions you cannot see the other models vote button when you go to their profiles... only if you click on their fanclub the vote button magically appears above like it should.
Desktop version: I can only see one video at a time in my profile, I have 100 videos, you have to scroll one by one to go to the last one, instead of having them like before, 3 videos per row. Store Items link is blocked/clashing with the "Sort by Category" link. And its also showing only one store item at a time instead of 3 store items per row so my fans don't have to scroll so much. I tried with other peoples phones and I still see the problem.
MV Share (Referral Program) was not included in the new navigation. How will I know the status of my referrals? or the income stats from my MV Share?
Final suggestions:
1.Make a Feed Button where we can see the posts of every person we follow on MV. Something like our Free Fan Club or the Activity Feed, but don't call it like any of that, and maybe make it a button on the navigation menu instead of having to go into our profiles and clicking free fan club to then post something that might not even get seen...
2. You guys are sleeping on the MV Live Mobile Broadcasting... I would be streaming all the time if I could from my phone....

I used to buy content here, but all is so difficult now, also so MANY changed and things gone, I would love the old layout, talking the one about before the MV Social change etc, was so much easier and MV Style...also alot that has been gone, MV Starlight, Xposed, MV Magazine, I would love all that cuz I would know the MV Stars...well also MV took that away. So MANY good things gone that made MV. Shucks, Dont like this new "update" and like you say you "listen" to feedback, hope you all really do and over think this cuz many do not like it, models are losing income, as you all too, many will, if not yet, will leave

Literally hundreds of people here complaining about the new changes, and MV Staff isn't going to do anything about it. They're so obsessed with this change, and yet they don't care how much money we (and they) lose from it.
Please do not ignore the community, we did not ask for this change and we don't want this. Nothing about this change is user-friendly or "streamlined". The insistence to excuse these horrible updates with fancy buzzwords like "streamlined" is just bizarre and does not even align with reality. Anyone who has used the new layout for more than 5 minutes knows that this is the opposite of streamlined, we have to click 2x the buttons to get anywhere.
Models who are depending on a paycheck may be more patient with these changes but members aren't. You cannot reasonably expect members who just want to buy a porn video to spend time "troubleshooting" with support when they previously didn't have to do that on MV and won't have to do that on alternative platforms. I say that in the most respectful way possible, MV does not exist in a bubble, you are competing with other platforms and and everyone wants MV to continue being the best clip site out there.
The new MV Stars page is terrible and has made the platform less diverse, it also doesn't filter correctly. I know a lot of MV models pushed for rank, I did. By putting the full list of MV models behind the new MV stars page you are giving your models less incentive to push for rank and making that goalpost of being featured on the top page less obtainable for 99%+ of your models. This won't make models push harder for rank, this is demotivating.
MV Social, something both MV models and members seemed to really enjoy and engage with has been buried and seemingly dismantled. We don't get notifications for new followers, why? You have now made it so people have to click "view more" on our posts, user retention matters and making people click more buttons to access the same information they used to isn't going to help. Why would you intentionally make a change to hide the majority of our posts, resulting in less clickable links that would otherwise be right in a potential buyers face?
Preferences are being changed for users, I can't imagine this is helping sales. You guys make updates and change the wording for things like MV ads now being called "sponsored" or things that happened before this update like Crush club being changed to VIP club but then you don't update that wording elsewhere. The article for sponsored videos still uses the term "MV ad", you're still using the term "Crush" in our section to make promo codes. Can you imagine how hard it would be for a new model to navigate this? I think you have an amazing support team of people who want to help us but how are they supposed to do that when they aren't being given the run down on site updates? I know there are different branches of MV but frontline support should be informed of basic layout changes before they are rolled out.
Lastly, while a lot of us are passionate about MV and wouldn't be leaving this feedback otherwise. PLEASE understand that our time is valuable, it should not be the norm to expect us to take a good chuck out of our work day to troubleshoot what is majority of the time bugs on your platform, you should be beta testing before rolling out changes to make sure this happens as little as possible. It is not the norm to expect people to use incognito for your platform to function properly.
I saw someone mention in another comment that you guys should do polls for site changes, I think that is a fantastic idea! I also want to add to the voices of others saying they want the old MV back, please bring back the old layout. We gave 2.0 a try and for many it proved to be a downgrade.

The new layout is ok but the old one was definitely more easier and user friendly. I hope there will be also many improvements soon like fixing the missing visible notification for unread messages and new notifications and much more.
Also the lack of information on the About Me pages. There are so many options (over 20) to edit our profiles but now most of these options aren't visible anymore with the new layout, why? All the profile pages are so empty now which is really sad.
Another point. Members could see the amount of tokens easily on the main page with the old layout, which was really helpful. But now we have to visit a Room on MV Live just to see the amount, that's not really user-friendly. Like you could easily show the tokens amount on the purchase history site or the settings site (like you do already with the MV Wallet Balance) And it's the same with buying tokens.
Not a fan of the new style personally. The weirdest and most backwards design change for me is that now you can't see if you have a new message at a glance, you have to actually open your inbox to check. How is this seen as an improvement in any way?

My average fan age is 40+ and none of them finds it user friendly. They complain that it is confusing and difficult. I am losing money every day.

I agree with Mauve, you should put your new great ideas to a vote first. And you should make sure EVERYTHING works BEFORE you implement it. I also agree with tactical sext, the platform was perfect before, everything worked, and was easy to find, Still can't send a customer a short vid from chat, has been a month already, still have the messenger button covering the send button in chat, also a month now. Where is the feature where we could send all our fans a message with 1 click? can't remember the name, gone again! You all removed it a few months ago, everyone complained you put it back, and now it's gone again! Why?
It seems like once we get use to one layout and all the changes that are made, yall up and change it again. Its rather frustrating. I miss the layout we had back when i first joined. If youre going to be making changes then make it to where we can interact with the members better. Bring back posting on profile walls as well.
With all the new changes in the past few months, the no NSFW pics in profiles or portrait pics as well as the contests, which I get but is completely ridiculous. Just have it so people aren't logged in can't see it. I've lost a lot of custom since then.
With the new interface, I've had so much less traffic to my page, I've seen in here that so many have as well.
It just seems like a beta version, it should be optional for testing, then you can make changes without completely having to make changes during people promoting, chatting or trying to sell whatever they offer. This is probably the reasons for the lag.
It does look amazing and definitely the future of MV, this is what I imagine it to look like but maybe refine it a bit more.
In future, maybe you can make some sort of voting system, so you can prove that everyone, or at least a majority want the thing that you want want to implement. It seems the same thing happens every time. This page is proof, it's been a majority, I'd say about 85% in just here are angry about the changes. Offer up a poll, offer beta versions or visuals of what could happen with whatever changes you need to make and see how popular they actually are amongst a wider audience.

This "improved version" takes forever to load and display (multiple seconds!) on every page navigation.
The left navigation bar squishes everything together, so much that stuff is overlapping (especially on video store pages). I can't see if I have messages in my inbox. The search does not let me specify if I want to search for a specific model or a video. I could go on and on.
oh yes , i hate that there isnt a number shown anymore at the message symbol or the bell symbol when you have messages or notifications about new Fanclub Postings you are subbed to
The search feature updates have been terrible compared to the older system, which was extremely bad to begin with.

I don't think their search function has ever been very good.
This is the third version of MV search I have endured as a paying customer, and each has been worse than the previous one. You now cannot even add a word search to an existing group of category filters - Now you have to type in the word, at which point the filters all disappear, and then you have to add the filters back manually, one by one! Two versions ago, when I joined, you could still do a custom word search, just within an individual MV star's store - That was a useful functionality, but it's clearly long gone. Things just get worse, and we get no consultation or choice or warning - one day we log in and, bang!! - someone has clearly talked the MV management into letting them redesign the site. The old saying is: If it ain't broke - don't fix it!!
The site has gotten worse. I don't like this update! During this period, no one subscribes! I don't see how many messages and notifications. It has become impossible to sit on the site on the phone ... and for a couple of days I have not been able to add an artist to the video! earlier, although this search was buggy, but after a couple of hours I was looking for a person, but now it’s not! RETURN THE OLD SIMPLE AND UNDERSTANDING VERSION!!!🤞🤞🤞
Some of the changes are ok, others not so much. Hopefully will sort out all the glitches, loading times etc soon. Your personal MV feed should be the fanclub icon in the nav bar, instead it takes many pages of clicking to get to. Inbox notifications need to be done. Also messaging in general with more options would love to see changed. Search still has wrong results and even typing exact names doesn't show some models or clips. Google gives me better results than the actual website itself which is crazy! Listen to the models feedback about the creators functions on MV. Search function and messaging have been two big issues for a long time though.
I actually like the look of it but everything is either in the wrong spot or actually gone lol. If they put the appropriate things on menus and its icons. It would be ok. Then there's the big glitches which have cut off options or display menus, icons etc. Very strange that they decided to change the layout, when there are multiple things that thousands of people have been complaining about for years. They don't improve that and in some cases have made it worse. Im hoping that these issues will be next on the list. Changes to MV creators options is not good though. They've also lost exposure from different pages and areas, plus cannot contact customers or see who is buying from them or joined either. MV made a big thing of having a community that would allow more contact between customers and creators. Again that seems to have gotten worse. I just hope its all going to fixed soon.

It took us a minute to get used to but it seems to look like a smoother user experience.
I will pass..haven't done business here in a while due that this site is so glitchy, and never progressed, plus I never saw a raise in % in vids to models, also the unfairness there is in contest etc.., so I use OF cuz they pay 80% in all their services and at least they are fair and the platform is so easy to use

Super irritating. I have not had one new follower in months and so many models not getting my messages which costs people lots of money as orders are not happening because of these miscues. I even had to change to chrome from Firefox in some cases which is very user distracting and the log in is a nightmare as I have to do so multiple times a day now. This is a very poor decision which could cost you dearly in the long run. Not very forward thinking and leaving your consumers thoughts in the dust is not a popular way to go in supporting your users along with your fans.
On my iPad whenever I click “my profile” it takes me to the login page. Also accessing my purchases takes like 5 clicks (I have to login, then go to my profile then click purchase history then use the menu). This is very clunky and annoying. Finally I see no link for my messages why not give us a direct link to that on the side bar? Very poor redesign makes me want to use this site less
100% The updates are not mobile friendly. One of the more important things is being able to check your messages and notifications that doesn’t work well on mobile. Just to start.

New site is busy and confusing. Way too many buttons to get to the same place. Top earning models noticed a massive sale decline upon full launch - did MV also notice?
Right now the Contest nav button takes us to an old contest, not the current one.
Only the 4-5 top earners from each category show on the main page now. It looks like a completely different website. I am sure paying customs logged onto MV and thought they arrived at the wrong place and left again.
I miss the old platform. Simple and easy to use. Self explanatory. Search functioned well. When you typed in manyvids.com it brought you to the branded - All - Straight - Gay - Trans - and you could pick. Now MV decides for you. I am also having to re-set my Content Preferences every few days. Its rotating options vs leaving it as I set it. 1/2
Taking away top earner bonuses took away so much exposure to so many groups of people. Gave bonuses back but to MV live only. Content creators would love bonuses with the OLD categories back. MV Girl, MV Boys, Kink, Store, etc etc.. You could just scroll and see all the different creators on the site. MILF, Trans, Asian, POC, Latina.. endless exposure for content creators with a bonus for all their hard work. Took the bonus money and put it back into CONTEST which we all know, we ALL know.. how those go lol
MV Live Star OTH has been banished from the main page. That brought so many new members, or models, or current members to my cam room! Loved seeing my friends up there when they were killin it on MV live. Now its only on Members profile which gets no traffic.

I'd love those old categories back. I not long ago broke into the top 100 MV boys, it was great but to be on that page with creators like yourself would've been amazing.
I hate doing the contests but have to, it's so demoralising, I put hours into them, voting for everyone, just to get votes from others to push me close to the top 100, then seeing the top 100 always dominated in the way we know they go. I don't think one MV boy made it into the top 5 of any of the community awards, definitely not the regular ones
With all due respect MV, I love ya but not one person asked for this. Aside from the glitches, the new interface is so incredibly hard to use! It's messy and overwhelming.. imagine being an older person, or neurodivergent trying to work this new interface... You have to click way too many things to get somewhere that can take one click. For example, the MV Stars page before you click "see more" is not only unnecessary, but a missed opportunity to give equal promo to all your models. For a site that wants to be "fluid" and "accessible" it is doing the complete opposite. You are showing the top 3 or 4 models in each category but how often do those models even change? If you wanted to be "fluid" and "accessible" have ALL the models on rotation and get a chance to be on the front page, then go to the models rankings page.

I haven't heard any good feedback from any of my friends and supporters about the new interface. Everyone thinks it's really hard to use. The reason I was so drawn to manyvids from the very beginning is because it was so incredibly simple and user friendly... Also you guys claim you love to give us "spotlight" but have taken it all away. On the main page there used to be trending models and key words... Top monthly earner bonuses was SUCH a good way to give models spotlight... 100 top models in so many categories (trans, gay, store, kink, asian, poc, couples, new, directors, etc) and now that is gone? that was 100 different models x all the categories, getting spotlight and new traffic to their pages! You want to be a cam site but also took away the Live Earner of the Hour promo on the main page... you've taken a lot of great things away that made the site stand out and be super special to a lot of models....
To be completely honest I couldn't even find this post anywhere on the site... someone had to email me the link... I've been a model on this site for 6... 7... maybe 8 years and I couldn't even find a news letter you guys put out... you think a new customer is going to be able to navigate the site that well?

I've been putting in a lot of effort, but I don't really feel it being reciprocated on this website. My sales are always down on days you start tweaking it. It's a real shame, because this used to be my favorite platform.
Old interface was great and much more user friendly. i get constant lags wtih changing my "content preference", i couldnt make it to show MV girls in MV stars. and I imagine how confusing it might be for members who have same lag. Also here's a real request, wanted my alot of people: change messaging system, let people choose from who they want to receive dm and add restrictiins. Let models allow dm from free members and let members close their dm from people they don't follow. Just make those changes to old inbox and it will be great, no need for any new messengers etc.
Yeah I think people should have options to decide it themselves, not manyvids decide for them. Most sites that have messaging also have privacy settings for it. I want to receive dm from free members because i understand not everyone wants to get a premium or purshase something from store before discussing. BUT I CANT! Ecpecially custom vids lol... If someone only want custom they have to purchase something else too just to dm a model. so thats why I dont think that self-promoting messages is definitely bad, as for many members its a way to start conversation with a model for free, to discuss a custom vid or discount for vid bundle for example. But i also undertand that a lot of people would prefer to dont receive spammy dm at all! I believe this is also a traffic problem because when MV added MV live, models had to stop promoting Mv on their cam sites and search for new ways to make sales 🤷♀️
We did not want this and its glitchty as hell. Please fix it.
GIVE US DARK MODE!!!! WE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR A DARK MODE. IT'S WAY EASIER TO IMPLEMENT THEN A WHOLE NEW INTERFACE.

With all due respect MV, is it too late to just go back to the old interface that worked for the most part? There are so many glitches with this new layout and a lot of very unhappy models and members.

I don't understand it either. I've noticed a considerable decline in sales and traffic since this new layout despite putting the same amount (if not more) effort into MV, however, it is starting to feel like a frustrating waste of time to just be hidden within the site. I've heard of so many other models losing money and I have to imagine it is putting a dent in MV's earnings as well. I imagine many members are just going elsewhere.
It sucks. And it sucks that they won't listen to the people who pay their bills. I feel no point to improve my ranking anymore because it obviously doesn't matter if it's not improving my sales or visibility whatsoever. It just means I will spend less time on MV and more time building up my other sites.
Changing a site's interface is always something complicated, because you necessarily lose regular users. There are clearly plenty of things to improve, but I prefer a site that tries (even if it means making mistakes) and moving forward, rather than a platform gathering dust and becoming obsolete.
You look very pissed off, I think you should take a step back. My message didn't expect a response and I don't have to explain myself :-)

Since the new update, I log in, then log out, and it seems I am still log in, I give hearts and so and they work, but in the navigaition bar it says to sign in when I already signed out lol...I did the test in following people and it did when it says sign in..lol..I cleared the cookies and it went back to sign in and I signed in again and it worked signing in again...also I search for mv stars and they are not searchable...I seen many on twitter having this issue as well..this update is not really good its so glitchy

The search results page hasn't been updated, so if someone isn't appearing we'll definitely want to get to the bottom of that.
The search bar has changed. Before you would start typing a name and you would get profile pictures with names closest to your text. Now I start typing Kay and instead of seing stars I see a list of titles for videos only.
This 2.0 is GARBAGE! So MANY lacks..well more...everything is so confusing and models less and less visible! MV you are LOSING MANY MEMBERS!!! LISTEN to the Feedback..cuz what you all say clearly is NOT the feedback you have been listening too, to way many contest, with all that money you give away, FIX THE SITE to how it was or all the issues it has.
The new banner keeps glitching for me, it'll disappear and I'll have to refresh 20 times for it to (maybe) show up. Log in page is also glitching, I'll press log in and it'll just take me back to the main page. SUPER annoying

When will the top menu show that there are unread messages?
I have to go all the way into my inbox to make sure I'm not missing any messages, and I've had buyers who were unaware that I'd replied to them for quite some time, because there's no change to the icon when the user has unread messages.
There are a couple of things I like about it- the single click to go to "my profile" (which actually goes to the store page, so it's a bit of a mislabel) is convenient, and it seems like an obvious thing we would need, but I wasn't aware of a way to get there using the old nav system that was as quick. Also, I'm glad that the "content manager" page is now actually under the "manage my store" category in the dropdown... the placement it had before never made sense!
Overall, the nav system itself annoys me a lot less than how they've rolled it out. I feel so bad for the support team- the last time I contacted support about a problem I was having with the nav menus, it turned out that she didn't have access to a test account that had been updated to the new navigation menus. No wonder she wasn't able to help and didn't seem to know what I meant!
If MV had reversed the steps in this rollout, I'd be so much happier. What if they 1) gave the support team (and ideally, also a team trained in & specifically hired for user experience testing!) access to test accounts with the new menus, so that they could find issues and become familiar; then 2) posted this update letting everyone know a change was coming; and 3) rolled it out to users when we were already expecting it & the support staff would be able to answer questions?
Ah, what I'm talking about is specifically from the seller side. From (for example) a page looking at my traffic or other stats, in the past there wasn't a one-click way to go to my own store page. But yes, neither of the things I mentioned would have necessitated a redesign!
Why on the side menu, below the DASHBOARD link I see WHY JOIN link if I am already logged in?
I'm not keen on this design either, but it's just a personal preference. I'm having issues like my profile disappearing (and not only mine), missing notifications and several other issues, but I hope it's temporary. On the other hand, I undestand the need of restyling and upgrading a site otherwise we would still have sites in HTML static like in the '90. I trust they will fix all the problems soon.

Its harder now to go to my inbox or view purchase history. It only tells me to 'sign in' in the top right drop box. But when i do, nothing changes, it still says that each time. Also there was an error preventing me from following new MV accounts. It started around the time you first started putting this layout in awhile ago.
It seems to finally let me follow people now but never sure when it will go back to messing up.

This update is a nightmare for low bandwidth users. You have to wait for the whole content page to load before the header loads and then the scripts to load to access let's say... the inbox. Loading site navigation last is a bold choice... Basically all I see nowadays is preview boxes trying to load (cause ofc you preload the previews before loading all the static assets...)... It's great. I can't even open multiple tabs because then with all that preloaded bloat I can't load the actual video previews... Probably buying 30% of what I'd buy if I could use the site but that's cool, the site looks better now... cool cool cool .Priorities.
usr experience is so important, as a model i find i have issues but have to train myself how to use the site properly

It would be super helpful to have free fanclub feed or mv flyers be pushed somewhere on this nav bar. More engagement with our audience = more sales for mv stars and more money in MV's pocket! MV social is what really set MV apart for a while and now it feels like our posts are being hidden to an extent. I think I can speak of behalf of all the models and say we'd love a way to connect with our audience that is visible to more eyes to let them know about our deals/new content.

I agree 100% with Mia. So disheartening that most followers don't even know how to find our feeds. And I have never once had a follower say they saw a MV Flyer. Mia is so right, more fan engagement is more money to MV. As it is now I have to message followers one at a time and hope they see it.
Will you though? Because we've been pushing for more effective engagement with audience for years and have been ignored. I'm convinced no one actually monitors y'alls suggestion inbox. I, along with lots of other models have had all of our suggestions go to die there. Please, either make the changes we've been begging for for years, or just admit that you're not going to address our concerns. It's like y'all don't want us to make you more money.
