So, how can you collect points and climb up the leaderboard? By uploading, promoting, and getting fans to engage with and subscribe to your Club!
Creators can take part in the Club Leaders Contest by uploading their themed pics to the contest page now. Then, from July 13th at 11:00 AM EST until Wednesday, July 19th at 8:00 PM EST, collect points by performing specific actions with your Club and incentivizing Members to interact with it as well.
Points System
FREE Votes – 1 point each
First-time Club Activation – 20,000 points
Club Feed “Comment” (on paid posts only) – 50 points
Club Feed “Re-MV” (on paid posts only) – 100 points
Trial Subscription – 100 points
1-month Subscription – 1,000 points
3-month Subscription – 5,000 points
12-month Subscription – 20,000 points
New Club Vid Upload – 500 points
New Club Pic Upload – 250 points per pic
New Club Text Post – 100 points
Points will only be counted once the Club Leaders Contest has begun. Any behavior or actions intended to skew the points system or falsify activity for points will result in disqualification.

And If people auto-renew that 12 month subscription, that will renew at whatever the rate was of their original sign up correct? Including any promo codes offered for example, during a contest?

Everyone has the same opportunity to win any of these contests. It's about how much work the creators are putting into the contest. Whether or not theyre contacting fans and offering deals for votes or subs, whether or not they're marketing themselves and networking to find new fans. There are people in the top spots right now who have NEVER made it to a top spot when there were paid votes. This is actually the most fair contest MV has ever done. I'm seeing men amd trans both on pages 1 and 2, meaning those creators are working really hard to promote and advertise themselves. Watering down the contest by creating special categories wouldn't be a real win for anyone. It would just be giving away prizes without making us all work hard to get to those top spots. Winning feels so much better when you put in the hard work to succeed.

It's good you're trying something new and this is so close for what we're asking for and will push clubs as well but it's really landed a bit flat. People who haven't tried at all before this are so far ahead of all of us that have put years into our clubs and with the points for selling a subscription, there's no way thousands of us will make that up unless we spam up to 80 pictures for each subscription of those ahead of us.
The normal side of the contest is also confusing, is that just votes on there or are the other points included?

Click where the words "contest page" are lit up in blue. Then upload a pic that you have cropped down to a 4×6 size! I use the instagram story size on canva for just over half of that size then save and crop off like the bottom 1/4-1/3 of the pic. Upload that as your entry and type FOLLOW ME or Whatever deal you are running in the space provided (not much so be aware, I pit deals directly on my entry pics) and then click add or whatever the button is. It'll make you confirm to be a good sport no matter the outcome and then it'll refresh after you have entered. Hope that helps!

As a member, I don't like it. There are two activities that matter - starting a store and 12-month subs - and if you squint, uploading new vids. But you have to upload 40 new vids to equal just one 12-month or starting a new store.
I'm not sure if Cattie meant delete her club and start a new one, but it almost feels like you need to do that. Yeah, I don't think existing stores should be penalized because they set up a store like the site wanted prior. Like that ATT commercial where the existing customer wants the new custom deal. It's literally their entire advertising campaign currently, and it's pretty much the same thing at it's core.. Hope I'm wrong!
I agree, I'm gonna skip this one. I do appreciate they're finally trying to help the "lil guys" or newer less popular entertainers but this just isnt it. It's gonna create more issues imo than help. Like its not really fair even to the newbies to ask them to put in that much work for 1 week that theyr couldn't possibly keep up with on a regular basis and like you said Tom I don't think it's what fans want. Because if you spend money buying a full year of someone who just created their vip and then after the 1st week they only post weekly or biweekly, it's not going to help the model when her fans are frustrated with her for "false advertising" which is what I'd consider setting the presidence of dropping a ton of content for 1 week then easing back to a reasonable amount for the price of the club.

I know and no points for anyone with already active clubs to start with? Not sure I'll be entering this one as mass posting to our club for 1 week will just have fans regularly expecting that and it could hurt us long term or even negatively effect our algorithms. Sounds fun for newbies though.
The 20,000 points for newly activated clubs are meant to level the playing field so that more Creators get a chance to compete in and win a contest. A Creator who already has a big following and/or a successful Club, can sell a single 12-month subscription for the same number of points. The intention was to try to close the gap between new and existing Clubs so there wouldn't be as big of a hurdle for new Creators compared to someone who already has a lot of active subscribers and a lot of content to engage with!
So does our current content count then towards the contest?
It does not count for uploads, but your fans can engage with that content for engagement points and of course, new uploads will count as well as subscriptions!
