You’ve been on a diet and exercise plan for a while now, and you’ve gotten good results. It’s been hard though. The longer this goes on, the less convincing the little angel on your shoulder is, and the better the devil on your other shoulder sounds. You’ve been good so far, but...today is the hardest day yet. The angel isn’t anywhere to be found. It’s just the devil, who’s taken the form of a gloriously curvy woman to tempt you. She tantalizes you with descriptions of foods at the top of your “no” list, and she tells you, “Give in to gluttony.” You like the sound of that—being gluttonous, full and bloated and fully satisfied for once after a meal. One little cheat can’t hurt, right?
