Wood is a solo practicing witch who has a bitter rivalry with another witch down the way. She's had it with her constant hexes and negative energy thrown her way, so now Wood is going to do something about it! She's concocted the perfect potion, a simple dominate person spell. All she has to do is drink it and recite the spell, and she will not only be able to put a hex on her witchy nemesis but will gain obscene amounts of power over her. She greedily drinks down the bubbling potion, desperate for power. Her stomach feels a little weird after drinking, but at least it tasted really good. Once the potion is gone, she begins to recite her spell. But before she can even get out the first sentence, she's interrupted by a burp! Thinking it's just the potion causing her stomach to be weird, she tries again only for it to happen once more! She begins to get a little worried, repeating the spell over and over. But every time she tries she is interrupted by burps or her words even come out as burps! She realizes what has happened - she's been hexed! Her witchy enemy has made it impossible for her to retaliate and do any other spells on her. Even when she tries a different spell, one praying to Hecate to remove the curse, she is still beset by burp after burp. It doesn't matter what she does, if she is trying to cast a spell she immediately is filled with burps -- from big, bassy belches to small burps that come out as words. She soon realizes that she won't be able to fix this herself. Looks like she has to find a coven to undo the Burping Curse for her!
