Ahh, Father’s day. The time of the year dedicated to showing our Dads just how much we care.

Because they care so much about us. They want us to be happy, to have a great life. They’re our best friends, and they’re always going to have our backs.

But what happens when daddy’s little girl decides she wants to enter the glamorous world of adult entertainment? How would Dads react when they find out that their sweet precious girl is going to be doing porn?

I can’t remember who I told first, my Mum or my Dad. I got sick of being asked if I was doing OK, why wasn’t I applying for jobs or signing on. Having to pretend I was selling quite a lot of handicrafts was becoming a drag. We’d go out for dinner and they wouldn’t let me pay. I began feeling guilty about all this.

My Dad has always had confidence in my decisions. I never thought for a minute that he would disapprove. He tried to pay for dinner one time and I put my foot down.

“I do have a job. I make fetish videos for perverts on the internet”.

He was shocked, but found it pretty funny. I described a couple of the more obscure and harmless fetishes I had encountered. He said that he thought I had been hiding something. He didn’t believe that I was able to pay the bills selling crafts.

2. KimberVeilsAZ

Ok so my dad already knew I danced. Then a year after I was at the store with my dad and a guy came up and called me Kimber and asked to take a pic with me. I had to pull the asshole move and act like I wasn't me. But then again few days later I'm with my dad and my little sister at the mall and 2 separate times people recognized me and came up to me. Wasn't really possible to keep it secret but I tried by saying that it was my dancer name. I was already shocked that happened anyways. I do have a lot of Twitter and Facebook  followers that are local from when I danced and I'd occasionally have someone recognize me but they called me by my dancer name, which was not the same as what I use now lol. But a few weeks go by and I'd forgotten all about all this when I get a message on Facebook from one of my dad's friends hitting on me. I didn't respond, just freaked out more or less lol. Same day I go see my sister at work and the girls working with her said something like, you look even better than you do in your pics. And the other girl said "even though you have clothes on" that's when I knew if my little sister was telling and showing her co-workers my work. And my dad's friend found out and wit the suspicion already there I knew he had to know. But he never brought it up. He just tells people who ask that I'm a bartender and sell things online lol. So in the end it was all cool. He just avoided the subject and kept things fine!

3. Shaye Rivers

My mom and I are more like best friends than mother/daughter, and she was very supportive of my decision to be in the adult industry. I didn't tell my dad or that half of the family for years. Then one night I missed a call from a number I didn't know, and they left a voicemail. It was one of my cousins that I hadn't spoken to since I was about 10 years old. In the voicemail, she told me her brother had seen me in a porn movie and they were very worried about me. She asked if I was on drugs and then told me that they had taken it upon themselves to tell my dad. The next day, my dad called me and all he said was "is it true?" I told him it was and he laughed and said he knew something was up. He was rather upset that my cousins had made it their business to tell everyone, but has been supportive ever since.

I come from a very religious family in a small California town. I grew up in a very strict upbringing never missing a Sunday at Church. But I was always a free spirit and my Dad knew this. He said “Christiana there is always room for another celebrity in the family”, and told me to go out and make my dreams come true. Knowing I have his love and support makes me work harder and thrive for more success in the industry. No stopping me now!

5. Playfullilgirl

I started doing camshows the day of my 18th birthday. I still lived with both of my parents, I booked a private skype show with someone super awesome, He was a C-List celebrity. He was super playful and flattered. One of his requests was that he wanted me to bend over and spread my ass cheeks. We never talked about it ever again but he knows I'm a camgirl, still upset about that tattoo though!
